Tori Spelling has a lot of feelings about being single.
“I just started having a therapy in a really long time, and I just started with a new therapist,” Spelling, 51, said during the Friday, April 4, episode of her “Misspelling” podcast, where she chatted with friend and guest Aubrey O’Day. “We’re going all back way back to childhood because she’s like, I don’t know where this comes from, but I have a very odd relationship with men.”
She added, “I’m now 51 and single again with five kids. So, I don’t even know where I stand in the future.”
Breaking down in tears, she continued, “I just don’t want to be alone. I don’t want to die alone. I don’t know what I’m doing right now.”
O’Day, 41, hugged Spelling as she continued to cry.

“You and I are strong,” Spelling said.. “They should sample my DNA when they f***ing go to the next world war. Whatever the f*** I am, I’m resilient, but what does it mean at the end of the day?”
Spelling’s emotional moment comes more than one year after she filed for divorce from Dean McDermott after 18 years of marriage. (Their initial date of separation was listed as June 17, 2023.)
One month after filing for divorce, Spelling launched her podcast and detailed the final fight that led to their breakup — which included the actress throwing a baked potato.
Spelling and McDermott’s divorce has not been the focal point of her podcast over the past year, but she has offered some commentary on their lengthy marriage.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 alum said during a December 2024 episode that she will “never regret” staying with McDermott, 58, for as long as she did, but thinks it impacted their kids in the long run. (The former couple shares five kids, Liam, 18, Stella, 16, Hattie, 13, Finn, 12, and Beau, 8.)
“I always thought as bad as things might be between my partner and myself, it’s better to have their dad in the house than in a different residence,” Spelling said at the time. “I think that kept me in the relationship far too long. It ultimately, I feel, did a disservice to my kids.”
