Stranger Things showrunners Ross and Matt Duffer confirm that season 5 will be released in 2025. Their comments come after reports of the release being delayed.
As per Collider, while speaking during a panel at SDAC TVfest, the Duffer brothers shared that “We’re focused on visual effects sequences right now. We started back in January, so it’s going well. We’re actually ahead of schedule which is rare for us, so that’s great.” They added that “It’s coming this year” while clarifying that “It’s still a long way away.”
