“An actor’s face is their livelihood; this kind of disrespect is deplorable,” one person said.

“A true sign of a society in moral decline,” another said.

“Time to start threatening people with arrest and assault charges if they throw things at people,” one person claimed.

“Disgusting. it’s going to get to the point where people do not want to do live events or concerts. If they have to be worried about people throwing stuff at them and getting hurt,” a third wrote.

A new disturbing trend has emerged where fans at concerts have been pelting things at artists on stage, with some big names in the industry being victim to this.

Bebe Rexha was struck in the eye by a phone thrown from the crowd earlier this year, causing her to need stitches.

Rapper Drake was also hit in the face by a phone flung from the crowd at his It’s All a Blur tour in Chicago in July.

Most recently, Taylor Swift stopped mid-concert to address the concerning trend by asking fans not to throw things on the stage.

“And just because communication means having gentle, healthy boundaries – it really freaks me out when stuff gets thrown on the stage,” she told fans at her third show in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

“Because if it’s on the stage then a dancer can trip on it,” she explained.
