Central Oregonians had the chance to explore volunteer opportunities at the 17th annual Volunteer Expo, held Sunday at the Downtown Bend Library.
The free event, organized by Deschutes Public Library, brought together 21 local organizations seeking volunteers to support their missions.
Among the organizations in attendance were Bethlehem Inn, MountainStar Family Relief Nursery, Father’s Group, Discover Your Forest, the Red Cross, and many more.
The expo brings in over 100 attendees looking for ways to give back to the community.
Plans are already underway to host another Volunteer Expo at the new Redmond Library in the fall.
