Tom Sandoval is shutting down claims of having planted a story regarding a potential hookup between Brock Davies and Rachel “Raquel” Leviss to deflect from “Scandoval.”

Following last week’s episode of Vanderpump Rules, Sandoval, 41, slammed the “ridiculous” claim that he and his publicist may have been involved as Tom Schwartz, 40, admitted the issue caused tension between Brock, 33, and Scheana Shay, 38, and Scheana confessed to questioning her husband about the matter.

“I would never do that and to insinuate that is ridiculous. It wouldn’t do anything. It would be like throwing a cup of water on a burning house,” Sandoval reasoned on the March 5 episode of the Pump Rules: After Show.

According to Schwartz, he didn’t think there was “any credibility” to the rumor suggesting something may have happened between Brock and Raquel and “felt horrible” for Brock.

“He had mentioned it had a profoundly negative impact on their family dynamic and relationship for a while, like really strained it,” Schwartz shared.

In addition to insisting he was not behind the seemingly false report, Sandoval denied being happy to hear it.

“Was there a little part of you deep down just for a moment of weakness where you’re just like ‘Yes!?’” Schwartz asked.

“No,” Sandoval replied. “That article had already came and went. I had no idea until Brock told me in that moment.”

Looking back at the controversy, Scheana said Sandoval’s publicist was a “f*cking snake” who put stories out to try and distract from Sandoval’s affair with Raquel, 29, while also suggesting Sandoval may have had nothing to do with the rumor.

“I know through my publicist and people we know in the industry who was planting these stories, and it wasn’t necessarily Tom Sandoval calling f*cking whoever. It was his team, and it definitely wasn’t his manager because his manager used to be my manager,” she stated.

Although Scheana may not have felt that Sandoval was involved, she did take it upon herself to check in with Brock.

“I’m like, ‘Is it true? Did she ever?’” she shared. “I remember [Lala Kent] said, ‘If nothing happened between the two of them, that’s because you have a good man.’ But it started to make me think, even if nothing ever did happen, did she try? And he just didn’t tell me because he didn’t want to tell me that my friend tried? Of course, I questioned him because I’d be an idiot not to.”

Ariana Madix, 38, also weighed in, stating that “that particular publicist can very easily call up any of the weeklies and have pretty much anything printed.”

“It doesn’t sound that far-fetched because it does sound like the kind of thing where he and his publicist were maybe having one of their sh*t talking sessions, and then he could’ve taken that and thought he was doing something to help by doing that,” Ariana reasoned.

Either way, she doesn’t think anything went down between Brock and Raquel.

“I don’t think anything happened, but I definitely feel like in hindsight, I would’ve been like, ‘I was so trusting of this person,’” she said. “I’m of the philosophy if you can get him, you can have him. Again, don’t think it is [true], don’t think he had any interest in her like that. If that were the case, I’d be like, Scheana’d be better off knowing that that’s not someone, she couldn’t trust either of them.”

“I think at this point, I think it would’ve come out if it was actually in fact true,” added Katie Maloney, 37.
