Walton Goggins abruptly shut down an interview after he was repeatedly asked about his rumoured feud with his The White Lotus co-star Aimee Lou Wood.
London Times writer Ed Potton recently interview the actor and first raised the feud rumours by mentioning that Goggins and Wood no longer followed each other on Instagram, Potton explained in a recently published feature.
“I’m not gonna have that conversation,” Goggins said in response.

Potton explains that an American publicist overseeing the chat chimed in saying, “we’re not going there thank you” before a British publicist added, “next question”.
The conversation then pivoted to Goggins’ new movie The Uninvited but turned back to Wood soon after when Potton asked about reports that the former castmates may be making a public appearance together soon.
Goggins said nothing, Potton says, before one of the publicists suggested talking more about the new film the actor was promoting.
“Thinly veiled, my friend,” Goggins eventually said before suggesting that the film was the thing Potton was “the thing [he was] least interested in”.

Potton says when he raised Wood another time, he was swiftly cut off by Goggins.
“There is no conversation to be had about that,” he said.
“Sharing politics on social media – it’s in a vacuum.”
Then Potton made one final attempt, per the journalist.
“What the f— Ed!,” Goggins exclaimed. “Come on buddy. Wow.”
“We’re going to end it there,” Potton says the American publicist chimed in ending the ill-fated interview.
Potton explained that his questions about Wood saw the interview go “off the rails” and reach an “acrimonious ending”.

Goggins and Wood became friends while playing love interests in the widely popular third season of The White Lotus – the finale of which aired earlier this year.
After their co-star Jason Isaacs hinted to some tension on set, speculations of a feud between Wood and Goggins began bubbling away especially after eagle-eyed fans noticed the pair were no longer following each other on social media.

The feud rumours grew when Goggins reportedly praised a Saturday Night Live sketch that mocked Wood’s teeth in a since-deleted comment.
Wood publicly called out the skit for being “mean and unfunny”.
Wood and Goggins both haven’t addressed the feud rumours.
