Vanderpump Rules stars Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor have been in the news quite a bit recently. Not only do they have a new reality TV show, but they also announced their split last month. However, they are very much still married, and Brittany recently confessed that she’s still in love with him and wants more kids.
Brittney and Jax met back in 2015 and ended up getting engaged three years later. They walked down the aisle in 2019 and have one child. Brittany has said that she broke things off with Jax to preserve her mental health.
According to The Daily Mail, Brittany isn’t all that sure she’s ready to let Jax go despite needing a break and now living in a rental property.
She said, “I feel like I see Jax across the room, and I’m like, ‘He looks so handsome.’ I still love him very much. It’s a hard time, right? It’s still fresh, so yeah, it’s still fresh.”
Brittany went on to discuss not really being open to seeing other people by saying, “I don’t even know what it would mean for somebody to capture my heart now. I think it just is like, I don’t know. It’s too early to even think about.”
She then provides an update on how things are going during their separation.
Brittany says, “I am still living in an Airbnb. Still taking my time for myself, trying to figure out what I want to do, if I want to go back into that relationship, or if I decide I want to do something else. And I never, ever, ever thought I would get to that point because I have literally been Jax’s ride or die.”
Brittany also talks a bit about her history with Jax and how he “did her dirty.” She also reveals that they were fighting and how she felt their son didn’t deserve to see it. For context, the two got back together after he previously cheated on her.
“Everybody knows that he did me dirty so many times and I still stuck by him. But after having my son, I think it woke me up a little bit and made me realize what I deserve and what he deserves. And a happy home is more important than trying to constantly make things work. Cruz doesn’t deserve to see his parents fighting. That’s not okay. And Jax is a great dad. He’s just not a great husband.”
Brittany also feels that the toxic relationship was changing her.
“And I’m not perfect either. I was turning into a b**chy Brittany, which I’m not because it was just every single thing that he was doing was annoying me, making me mad.”
Brittany also reveals that she does want another child. Jax also talked to the outlet and said their son is their main focus while being separated.
