Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem Sequel Gets 2026 Release Window

2023’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem has a release date for its upcoming sequel. The turtles will return to the big screen on October 9, 2026.

Thanks to an IGN report, we know that Jeff Rowe, the film’s original director, will be returning for the upcoming sequel, with Point Gray Pictures set to produce. Other than that, not much is known about the film. But based on the first movie’s ending, it’s clear that the franchise’s future will involve Shredder, an iconic villain that the turtles often face off against.

Fans of the series won’t have to wait too much longer for more turtle content because an upcoming show following the turtles after Mutant Mayhem is scheduled to release this summer on Paramount+. The upcoming series is supposed to “bridge” the two films and span two seasons. In addition, Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, and Brady Noon will be reprising their roles as the Ninja Turtles for the upcoming series.

On top of that, the turtles will also be receiving a video game spinoff that’s set in the same world as the movie. The upcoming game will be published by Outright Games and is set to come out in 2024 for console and PC. In it, players will be able to go toe-to-toe with villains like Rocksteady.

Be sure to read out our TMNT: Mutant Mayhem review, where Chris E. Hayner wrote: “The mutants all look and sound great, taking designs from the original animated series.”
