Teddi Mellencamp returned home from the hospital in a tearful post after her recent brain surgery. Soon after, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared a video of her “bruising and swelling” as she worked out, and was spotted in public for the first time with friend Kyle Richards.

Last month, Teddi revealed she was diagnosed with brain cancer, and she underwent surgery to remove multiple tumors. Before the procedure, the star was surrounded by friends and her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave.

“16 days and I get to go home!!!” wrote Teddi over a March 4 Instagram video of herself being driven back to her house. “Thank you to all my loves and life savers for getting me to this.”

In the video, Teddi tearfully sang to the song “I’m Coming Home” by Skylar Grey.

In another post, Teddi filmed herself walking on an incline treadmill. The video showed significant bruising on her arms. “Bruising and swelling but I know I can do this,” she wrote over the video. “F**k off tears. I can do hard things.”

Around the same time, Teddi was spotted in public for the first time since the surgery. In photos via Daily Mail, the star grabbed lunch with her former castmate Kyle.

Last week on Instagram, Teddi shared an update after the surgery.

“I am so grateful for the incredible surgeons, doctors, and nurses who made my surgery a success and my recovery process comfortable. In full transparency, more tumors were removed than expected: [Four] in total. This fight is not over, but that round has been won,” she shared at the time. “The laughter, support, and patience of my kids, my family, and my closest friends is one gift with which words cannot properly express my gratitude … As I move on to the next steps in my treatment, I just wanted to say thank you to everybody for the outpouring of love and prayers. I see them, and they’re definitely helping me stay strong.”
