Blake Lively has responded to a huge “honour” amid her ongoing lawsuit.
The actress was recently named by TIME Magazine among a star-studded group of musicians, actors and world leaders as one of the 100 most influential people of 2025.
But instead of being listed in the artist category with other actresses like Scarlett Johansson and Kristen Bell, Lively was included as a ‘Titan’.

Reacting to the news on social media, Lively gushed about how profound it was “not just to be included, but to have a voice.”
In a post to her Instagram grid, Lively said it was an “honour to be acknowledged.”
She included a screenshot of the blurb written for her by civil rights lawyer, Sherrilyn Ifill.

Ifill wrote about meeting Lively when the actress and her husband Ryan Reynolds reached out in 2019 to make a contribution to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.
She said she knew the star as a “philanthropist and a student of our country’s most intractable problems.”
She also praised Lively for her “curiosity, and her sincere work to understand the conditions that shape this country.”

“To be written about by the great [Ifill] is not something I take lightly,” Lively said.
“WHO SHE IS – as a human, woman, mother, leader, fighter, healer, empath, risk taker and dream maker- has shaped my heart and also my stamina to never stop believing in a future that’s better and safer for everyone.”
She also thanked Ifill for “one of the most surreal and meaningful moments” of her life.
Lively spoke further about the honour on her Instagram stories.
”I’m able to see this moment, almost looking back from the future, or looking ahead from childhood, and from every time period I can see how profound this is to me,” she wrote.

“Not just to be included, but to have a voice. It’s a fortunate thing, when it should be given,” she continued.
She thanked TIME and those “who uplift the many who live boldly, even when it’s scary”.
Lively’s appearance on the TIME100 list comes amid her ongoing legal battle with her It Ends With Us director and co-star, Justin Baldoni.

The actress first filed a complaint against Baldoni, accusing him of sexual harassment and an alleged smear campaign, in December 2024. Later that month she filed a lawsuit.
Baldoni responded with a countersuit against the actress in January 2025.

The court date for the trial is set for March 9, 2026.
Lively is currently promoting her upcoming film, Another Simple Favour.
