MACON, Ga. — A gas station in south Bibb was robbed Friday night, according to a press release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
It happened at the Family Corner Store at 4933 Sardis Church Road. That is a Citgo gas station just off I-75 and across from the QuikTrip at the intersection of Sardis Church Road and Skipper Road.
On Friday night, a man entered the store with a gun and demanded money from the store’s clerk, the press release said.
They say the man then fled the scene after taking an undisclosed amount of money.
No one was injured during the robbery.
