players can now embody characters from
    The Mandalorian
thanks to a new mod, adding immersive action to the RPG.

    Star Wars
Armor Pack” includes outfits based on The Mandalorian, Clone Troopers, and more popular characters, enhancing customization.
  • Modders are stepping in to add much-needed updates to
    Starfield
, filling the gap left by Bethesda’s lack of post-launch support.

Starfield players wanting to incorporate some action inspired by a different galaxy far, far away can now follow The Way thanks to an incredible mod based on The Mandalorian. While Bethesda’s sci-fi RPG and the sprawling universe of Star Wars may only have some basic similarities in terms of their presentation, the idea of hopping into a spaceship and hunting down wanted criminals fits neatly into both. There may be plenty of armor sets in Starfield that resemble the Beskar kit Dinn Djarin is known for but players wanting something more accurate finally have their way.

Posted to Nexus Mods by creator TheSniper9, the “Star Wars Armor Pack” includes unique outfit models based on the titular hero of The Mandalorian series as well as several of his co-stars including Bo-Katan Kryze and Axes Woves.

Each model features full physics and comes in both a Spacesuit and Clothing variant so players won’t need to constantly jump back and forth between outfits. Additionally, to provide a more immersive experience, the armor kits can be crafted at a workbench for only a single credit to prevent hours of tedious resource gathering.

The Mandalorian Isn’t Alone in Starfield

While The Mandalorian armor is arguably the coolest part of the “Star Wars Armor Pack,” Starfield players wanting to feel more like a grunt in their intergalactic adventure can also download and use several models based on Clone Troopers as they were depicted in The Clone Wars. The uniforms of several popular squads can be selected, including the 501st, the Commandos, Clone Pilots, and even the basic Clone Trooper. The variety on display is impressive and the armor style of the Republic’s army fits right in with the aesthetic of Starfield‘s vision of the future.

It’s also entirely possible to install one mod without the other, so fans of The Mandalorian needn’t break their immersion by seeing droves of Clone Troopers running around the galaxy. Fortunately, the Jet Pack should still functionally even when playing as Dinn Djarin to even better sell the idea of playing as the iconic bounty hunter. The mod unfortunately doesn’t tweak the appearance of the character’s weapons so an additional add-on may be required to obtain that powerful Amban phase-pulse blaster.

Starfield Modders Are Saving The Game

While Starfield may have released over six months ago, Bethesda Game Studios has offered little in the way of post-launch support. The developer promised in late 2023 that it would share more information on various quality-of-life updates and the Shattered Space DLC but in the months since then have shared no further information. Many of the game’s most requested features have been added by modders, including a more streamlined UI, a better galaxy map, and even radio stations in players’ starships.
