It’s been a while since Meghan King has been on The Real Housewives of Orange County, but the reality TV alum still has quite a bit going on in her life. Recently, she gave an update on co-parenting with her ex-husband Jim Edmonds as well as her new career path. Not only that, but she’s sharing her thoughts on Leah McSweeney’s lawsuit against Andy Cohen

Meghan was on seasons 10 through 12 of RHOC. For now, she’s left reality TV behind. As fans know, she and her Ex Jim had a difficult separation and divorce. This ultimately led to a restraining order and shared custody of their three kids.

Recently, she opened up to US Weekly about how co-parenting with Jim has gotten better. They’re still not at the greatest place, but they make it work for the kids.

She says, “Things are good. We’ve come a long way.”

Meghan then talks about giving her kids Apple IDs so she can keep in touch when they are with Jim.

Meghan says, “I gave my kids Apple IDs, which you can do, by the way. You could still be [their] mom, and they can have an Apple ID that’s totally restricted.” She adds, “It’s been smoother sailing, but I think it’s also because they’re older too. Life stages change situations.”

About co-parenting with Jim, she says, “We still have ways to go, but I’m confident that we’ll get there. It’s only for the sake of the kids. It’s not like I’m trying to be besties with anybody. I think there’s a big difference between friendship and allyship.”

She continues, “You can be aligned in the same purpose and goal, and you don’t even have to like the person, but it’s almost stronger than a friendship. You are both in the same boat and totally focused on the same general outcome. And so that’s what I’m hoping that we are starting to achieve, and I have hope that we can be in the same room.”

Meghan also says that Jim’s new wife is a positive influence on the kids. The two ladies aren’t best friends, but they respect each other.

Regarding her new career, Meghan said, “I got my real estate license a few months ago, making the shift from mommy influencing. I stopped showing my kids’ faces on Instagram about a year ago, and I wanted to kind of transition and parlay my influence into real estate because it’s always been a passion of mine. So I worked really hard, got my license pretty quickly, and I’m working as a concierge real estate agent.”

Meghan also came to Andy’s defense as he’s being sued by Leah. When it comes to drinking while filming, she says she never felt pressured by production to drink. However, she did feel the societal pressure many people do when going out with a group of friends.

She also spoke about the Housewives contracts and how people know what they are signing on to do and that production can manipulate the footage in any way they decide. Meghan went on to share a time on WWHL when Gina was also on. Gina was sober but somehow the mocktails and cocktails got mixed up during the Shot Ski game. During the commercials, she says Andy reprimanded the staff and explained to them how serious of an issue it was.

Megan is also working on a memoir.
