Aussie reality TV star Cassandra Wood is officially a mum!
Wood, who first rose to fame on The Bachelor Australia before launching podcast Reality of Romance, has announced she has welcomed her first child with husband Tyson Davis.
“Welcome to the world Theodore (Teddy/Theo) James Davis,” she captioned the Instagram post, revealing her son’s name and the family’s first photos together.

Wood included several photos with her husband and newborn taken from hospital.
“What started off slowly and beautifully in the birthing suite watching Australian Idol 😂, a long 30 hours later ended with an emergency C-section,” she shared.
The star said their baby boy “arrived safely in the best hands with the best team!”
“Feeling so grateful and in the biggest love bubble with our little family.
“And extremely grateful for my amazing and supportive husband who I am sure is also a little traumatised ❤️” she said in a special shoutout to Davis.

In one picture her son was sleeping in a crib with a custom blanket embroidered with his name, Theodore, on it.

Beloved Aussie celebrity couple welcomes second child
Wood included lots of pictures of the heartwarming polaroid photos she took to mark the occasion.
The post was inundated with messages of congratulations, including from Aussie swimmer Shayna Jack.

In a follow-up post to her Instagram Story, Wood shared some more heartwarming words for her son, who she affectionately called “little Teddy”.
“I love him so much,” she gushed. “Words can’t even describe.”
The post comes just over a week after Wood revealed her baby was coming “so soon”.

“A beautiful staycation soaking up some last moments just the two of us, before Bub arrives (so soon),” she captioned some gorgeous Sydney photos to Instagram with her noticeable baby bump.
Wood first announced she was pregnant back in August 2024.
In the announcement posted to Instagram she shared a picture of her holding up a sonogram image while giving her husband a kiss.
Days later, the couple confirmed they were expecting a boy with a gender reveal video.

Wood and Davis tied the knot in September 2023.
“The best day of our lives ft. Nala,” she captioned stunning shots from the day, featuring their pup.
Wood is best known for starring on season six of The Bachelor in 2018, which starred former rugby player Nick Cummins.
She then starred on Bachelor in Paradise in 2019, then launched her podcast.
