The Professional Women’s Connection invites folks to dig into something fun, fresh and fragrant Thursday, May 15 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at its Create Your Own Herb Garden Workshop. The event will take place at Petals & Plows Greenhouse, 9129 Kaufman Road, Ripon.
Whether an experienced gardener or just beginning to explore a green thumb, this hands-on event is a way to welcome the growing season.
Participants will learn which herbs thrive together and how to care for them throughout the summer months. With guidance and plenty of inspiration, attendees will be able to leave with their own custom herb garden — ideal for a sunny windowsill, balcony or backyard.
Materials are included, which include planter, soil and choice of two fresh herbs. Attendees may enjoy food and beverages as they connect with other women in the community.
Cost is $35 for members and $40 for non-members. Individuals should RSVP by Tuesday, May 13 at noon to secure their spot and supplies.
