It’s a Montclair tradition dating back more than 45 years – the Annual Herb & Heirloom Tomato Sale at Montclair History Center. Preorders are live and you can shop for unique herbs, heirloom tomato varieties, a selection of native plants, and container gardens that you won’t find at your local garden center or big box store.
The sale is also the Montclair History Center’s biggest fundraiser of the year. All proceeds support its mission in preserving and sharing the stories of Montclair’s rich history.
Preorder your plants through April 2. Preordering your favorite plants means they are put aside for you before the sale opens to the public. All preorders require payment in advance and will be available for pick up the week of April 28th. Preorder at www.montclairhistory.org/herb-sale-2025

Thursday, May 1st from 9 am to 8 pm
Friday, May 2nd from 9 am to 5 pm
Saturday, May 3rd from 9 am to 1 pm or until all sold
