Now You See Me 3 Gets Title as Lionsgate Sets Cast for 4th Movie

The Now You See Me franchise received a ton of updates today during Lionsgate’s CinemaCon presentation, including a new name for the upcoming third movie in the series.

What is the Now You See Me 3 title?

The official title for Now You See Me 3 has been changed to Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, a clever play on a line that magicians often recite. That wasn’t the only big news, however, as Lionsgate also revealed (via Deadline) that a fourth entry in the Now You See Me franchise was in the works.

Currently, no information is known about Now You See Me 4, but fans will likely know more following the release of the third film. Now You See Me: Now You Don’t releases in United States theaters on November 14, 2025, from Lionsgate.

Now You See Me 3 will bring back a number of other actors from the franchise, including Jesse Eisenberg as J. Daniel Atlas, Woody Harrelson as Merritt McKinney, Dave Franco as Jack Wilder, Isla Fisher as Henley Reeves, and Morgan Freeman as Thaddeus Bradley.

Additionally, Justice Smith (Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves), Dominic Sessa (The Holdovers), Ariana Greenblatt (Barbie), and Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) have joined the cast.

Plot details for Now You See Me 3 remain under wraps at this time. The film is written by Eric Warren Singer, Seth Grahame-Smith, and Mike Lesslie. Bobby Cohen and Alex Kurtzman serve as producers.

The first Now You See Me movie was released in 2013. Directed by Leterrier, the film was a huge hit for Lionsgate as it made approximately $351.7 million at the global box office off an estimated $75 million budget. The sequel, Now You See Me 2, followed in June 2016. That movie was directed by Jon M. Chu, who then went on to make 2021’s In the Heights and the upcoming Wicked adaptations.
