The Real Housewives of Atlanta is now four episodes into season 16. Though there has already been friction between Kenya Moore and newbie Brittany Eady, fans are finally seeing what led up to the much-talked-about incident between the two last summer. Now, Kenya is reacting to Brittany saying she had a gun in the latest episode, her inability to tell her story, and more in a series of tweets. Plus, she’s getting support from none other than Candiace Dillard-Bassett amid the drama.

As viewers know, the news broke last year that Kenya had displayed revenge porn against Brittany at the grand opening for her salon. At the time, there was talk of Brittany having threatened Kenya with a gun, which the newbie had denied.

The internet had much to say about episode four from season 16 of RHOA. Of course, this included Kenya herself. She took to X and said, “It’s so painful to see my storyline being told by someone else. With that said, I really appreciate Kelli being so kind and supportive to me. #RHOA”

She’s most likely referring to not having confessionals this season, which means she can’t provide context to scenes from the show like the rest of the cast can.

Her commentary didn’t end there. She went on to specifically call out being threatened with weapons, saying, “Being the longest standing RHOA member threatened with whips and pistols by a newcomer 3 weeks into filming. Seeing this obsession play out is scary. I wanted protection and assurances that the threats would be taken seriously. I may be strong, but I’m not bulletproof. #RHOA”

Then, the former Miss USA commented on the fact that Brittany seemingly took their drama from zero to a hundred by quoting a fan who said, “Kenya, we are dying exactly we have absolutely no context! #RHOA.”

Her reply post said, “Babe!!!! There is no context missing. No other interaction. No prior meetings… no gossip… NOTHING #rhoa.”

Many RHOA fans echoed this sentiment as it seemed Brit had it out for Kenya from the first time they met, when Kenya, like many, was confused as to why Brit wasn’t wearing a wedding band. Since then, Brit has brought up the seemingly minor situation on multiple occasions.

Kenya then quoted another fan who wondered how this would all play out in the long run when it comes to editing. According to the fan, “I wonder if @BravoTV going to edit it out and make you look bad and Brit look like the victim…… they good for that.”

Her reply said, “I may be a lot of things, but I’m not bulletproof. Praying the world will see what provoked me to take the actions I took. #rhoa”

The discourse didn’t end there, as Candiace was also watching the episode. The RHOP alum posted, “They always want to try and humble you when you’re smarter than them and their show ponies. Kenya deserves better. That’s all I’m goin to say about it.”

Regarding the clip from the show, there is no denying what Brit said. In the scene, the ladies were all leaving Angela Oakley‘s event after the tense exchange of words between Kenya and the newbie. Brit can be heard saying, “No, we’re not done. We’re not done. We’re still catching this moment.”

She said a bit more after this, but the part that sticks out is when she uttered, “I mean, I still have my pistol, though.” This is after she inquired about her husband, whom she had previously described as her bodyguard for the night.

Brit then said, “I had to let that bi*** know. Don’t play with me, bi***.”

She went on, “Kenya, her little ditsy a**. Play that sh** in front of the cameras. Don’t play that with me. I don’t play them games. I got whips, pistols, everything.”

“You ‘gon be respectful around here, and if you don’t know, you ‘gon learn today. Today is the day you ‘gon learn,” Brit later said.

The scene then went over to Kenya as she was getting into the car with Porsha Williams. She can be heard saying, “She’s talking about guns. She was talking about, ‘I still got my pistol on me.’ This girl is a problem. She gotta go. She gotta go.”

Kenya added, “Please let her do something to me so she could go.”

Still, there is no justification for the use of revenge porn. Kenya was wrong in her actions, but Brit also shouldn’t have mentioned having a gun following an argument. She didn’t explicitly threaten Kenya, but one can say that it was implied by the very mention of having a weapon.

Fans can watch new episodes of RHOA on Sunday nights.
