Hayden Panettiere is remembering her late brother on a difficult day.
On Wednesday, the Amber Alert star took to Instagram to pay tribute to her younger brother Jansen Panettiere on the two-year anniversary of his death. Where does the time go?? She wrote:
“2 years ago today, I lost my little brother. This amazing human being touched the lives of so many. Especially mine. The pain isn’t quantifiable. I pray you’re in a beautiful place J. That you’re at peace and that when all is said and done…”

The 35-year-old concluded the sweet message:
“I’ll see you again. Rest easy brother. You are so missed and beyond loved.”
Jansen tragically passed away on February 19, 2023 at just 28 years old. A friend found him unresponsive in his New York residence and administered CPR after calling 911. Sadly, he was pronounced dead when EMTs arrived. Later, the family revealed he died of “cardiomegaly (enlarged heart), coupled with aortic valve complications.”
Hayden has been very open about how much Jansen’s death has taken a toll on her.
