Georgia Love has something to say to her fans now her split from Lee Elliott has been confirmed.
After months of rumours, on Friday, Love and Elliott took to their respective Instagram Stories to announce their breakup.
In the days since, Elliott has been seen out and about with celebrity friends Rob Mills and Georgie Tunny – Love, meanwhile, took to her Instagram Story with a message to her 211,000 followers.

“Thank you for your kind messages ❤️,” the 35-year-old journalist, who found love with the 43-year-old plumber on The Bachelorette Australia in 2016, wrote on Sunday over a photo of the ocean.
Days earlier, Love and Elliott shared a joint statement on social media confirming they had split after nine years together, four of which they spent married.
”[We] have made the incredibly difficult decision to lovingly part ways,” Love and Elliott’s joint statement, shared as white text on a black background, began.

“Our relationship has been so special and we will always cherish the memories, love, and laughter we’ve shared,” their statement continued.
“There is no drama, no bad blood. Just two people who have grown in different directions while still holding deep respect and care for each other.
“We remain friends and we’d really appreciate our privacy as we navigate this next stage. Thank you.”

Both Love and Elliott had been spotted multiple times without their wedding rings on towards the end of 2024, with speculation about their split amping up after they seemingly spent Christmas apart.
Love ringing in the New Year in New York City without Elliott only added fuel to the fire, with fans asking her on social media in late December if she and Elliott had split up.
”We didn’t, actually,” Love wrote at the time in a reply to one of her follower’s comments.

“Best to stop speculating, least of all on my own page,” her comment continued.
“If I had anything to tell you all, I would do so myself.”
Almost exactly two months later, Love did end up having something to tell her fans. And she did.

Love and Elliott were The Bachelorette Australia‘s first couple to make it down the aisle after meeting on the show’s second season.
They announced their engagement in 2019, and tied the knot in 2021.
Their last public appearance together was at the opening night of Tina – The Tina Turner Musical at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre in October.
