Dynamite’s Transformers 40th Anniversary Trading Cards Sell Out!

Dynamite Entertainment has officially sold out of its Transformers 40th Anniversary Trading Cards, marking a triumphant conclusion to the yearlong celebration of the beloved Hasbro franchise’s milestone! Having raised over 250,000 dollars on Kickstarter, the cards, which include artwork by Bob Budiansky and Simon Furman, have become rare collectible cards hard to find out in the world.

The highly sought-after set, which paid tribute to the original Generation 1 era of Transformers, featured four primary product editions: the Collector’s Set, Deluxe Set, Hanger Boxes, and Blaster Boxes. Each edition has now completely sold out from its production run, including Dynamite’s direct sales and a successful Kickstarter campaign that wrapped up in October, with fulfillment set to finish this month.

These collectible cards showcased an incredible array of Transformers artwork, drawing from Hasbro’s extensive archives while also featuring contributions from top artists worldwide. Iconic Autobots and Decepticons, including Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Starscream, Ironhide, and Soundwave, were brought to life in stunning detail.

For fans who missed out, checking with local retailers may still offer a chance to secure a set before they vanish completely.

Dynamite sates:

Due to the phenomenal success of this initial Hasbro and Dynamite collaboration, further updates on new Dynamite licensed TRANSFORMERS collectible trading card projects will follow shortly.
