Leighton Meester has been brought to tears at the Critic’s Choice Awards after her husband, former The OC star Adam Brody, delivered a speech to remember.
The actor took to the stage after scooping the award for best actor in a comedy series for his role in Netflix hit Nobody Wants This.
But it was at the end of that speech that he turned his attention to his former Gossip Girl star wife sitting in the audience.

As cameras panned to his wife of a decade, she blew her proud husband a kiss before they reunited back at their table where she was seen wiping tears from her face with her napkin.
Brody also acknowledged another woman in his life during the emotional speech, his Netflix co-star Kristen Bell.
“Thank you for your talent. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for your belief in me,” he said.
It’s Brody and Meester’s first public appearance since they lost their home in the Californian wildfires – the most destructive fire to ever hit the city.
Photos of their home, which they bought back in 2019, in flames surfaced as the deadly fire hit the Palisades.
