Sometimes things can get dicey between couples when it comes to working together, but the sentiment doesn’t apply to Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.
Shelton, 48, was recently interviewed by Today in a report that was published on Wednesday, March 19, ahead of the release of his upcoming album titled For Recreational Use Only.

“I don’t feel like I want to make a record without a duet with Gwen on it anymore,” he told the outlet before he admitted, “She’s my favorite person to sing with.” Stefani, 55, who is featured on “Hangin’ On” off of her husband’s forthcoming album, has previously been featured in four other tracks with Shelton.
The outlet asked the “Some Beach” singer — who is stepfather to Gavin Rossdale and Stefani’s three sons, Kingston, 18, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 11, — if he and his wife would ever perform alongside their kids (who have reportedly taken an interest in music).
“That would be a lot of fun,” he told Today before he revealed, “I know that that would be Gwen’s dream come true, to have, like, a family band or something like that.”
Shelton and Stefani met on the set of The Voice when they were both coaches in 2014. The two were going through the process of divorcing their partners at the time and began dating in 2015. They got engaged in 2020 and tied the knot in 2021.
Shelton’s new album, For Recreational Use Only, is expected to be released on May 9 on all major music streaming platforms.
