Bethenny Frankel Shades Harry Hamlin After Dissing Pasta Sauce

Bethenny Frankel shaded Harry Hamlin after dissing his famous red-wine pasta sauce, and she claimed he sold a “ton” of it because of “hate buying.” The Real Housewives of New York City star also shared why the show “edited out” certain days of cast trips.

Back in December, Bethenny reviewed Harry’s pasta sauce and claimed it wasn’t good. Fans later slammed her for not even heating it up before trying it. So, she later heated it up, tried it again, and insisted it was worse. Afterward, Harry clapped back, suggesting that Bethenny doesn’t have good taste.  

On a recent episode of the Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast, Bethenny claimed she can “guarantee” that the sauce Harry makes in his home is “not the same” as the product he’s selling.

“And if they were really smart entrepreneurs, they would have leaned in [after the criticism],” she added. “They sold a ton of sauce, and we know exactly how much sauce they sold because of the sort of hate buying.”

“People were like, ‘Let me see how bad this sauce really is,’” she went on. “People were buying, and then they were doing their own videos. But if I’m Harry Hamlin, I would have said, ‘Okay, Bethenny, I saw your sauce review.’ I would have stitched it and said, ‘You’re an entrepreneur, and I want to take your advice. I’m challenging you to tell me what I need, what we could do. Could we even eat the sauce, taste the sauce, talk about the sauce, make sauce together?’”

In the same episode, Bethenny recalled her cast trips for RHONY.

“I would go on a trip a day and a half late and leave a day and a half early, and torch the joint while I was there,” she said. “[I’d] make everything happen while I was there.”

According to Bethenny, producer Lisa Shannon told her they “edited out” the time that Bethenny wasn’t there because the “scenes weren’t working” without her.

“So I would come and I would light the world on fire, [then] come out exhausted and stripped,” she said. “But I’d be like, this is what I’m here to do.”
