Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies say the man died from a gunshot wound on Ernest Street late Sunday night
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting on Ernest Street that occurred Sunday evening. Authorities responded to a call at 7:43 p.m. reporting a male shot in the 1300 block of Ernest Street.
Deputies found 41-year-old Reginald Sherard Kendrick unresponsive in the backyard, suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics attempted to treat him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Richard Robinson.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances leading to the shooting.
