Annemarie Wiley shared why she thinks her career “trigger[s]” Crystal Kung Minkoff, and she suggested Crystal “took advantage” of her trust. Annemarie also teased an “important” conversation between Kyle Richards and her sister Kathy Hilton at the upcoming reunion.
On a recent episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Crystal claimed Annemarie – a nurse anesthetist – lied about being a doctor when they first met. The disagreement morphed into a feud.
“I think I’m a little bit of a reminder to [Crystal] of … what she didn’t get to do, unfortunately,” said Annemarie in an interview with Us Weekly. “I guess her husband wasn’t supportive of [her desire to work in healthcare] or something and she chose to get married instead. She chose a different path.”
Annemarie believes it’s perhaps a “trigger” for Crystal, and “evokes some emotions for her.”
“[And] I think the fact that she’s not the newbie anymore, she really was like, ‘Ok great … This is my chance to not be the new one, not be the target, not be the focus in that regard,” said Annemarie of their drama. “And I think she really knew that she had to really step up this year.”
“I think she kind of took advantage of the fact that like, ‘I’m not the newbie anymore, and like she trusts me. I’m gonna kind of play the system a little bit,’” she added.

Speaking with Page Six, Annemarie teased Kathy and Kyle’s convo at the recently filmed reunion.
“There were a lot of important things that they talked about at the reunion — that they talked through at the reunion,” shared Annemarie, noting that viewers will be “very interested in the conversations that were had.”
“They were very necessary,” she added. “They’re very deep and very necessary.”
Annemarie compared Kathy and Kyle’s relationship to a “path” that “they’ve been working on for a bit.”
Though she teased other “very important conversations,” Annemarie didn’t name names.
“Fans are going to be very pleasantly surprised,” she said. “I think they’re going to be surprised at some of the things that are revealed, and I think just pleasantly surprised at how some things unfold, you know, but it’s, it’s going to be action-packed.”
As of now, Annemarie claims she’s “optimistic” about rebuilding her friendship with Crystal.
