Marvel Comics is introducing a brand new Spider-Man comics villain named HELLGATE. Described as Peter Parker’s greatest challenge to be featured this brand new run on the character, the villain was teased in last month’s Amazing Spider-Man #65 by Joe Kelly and Cafu.
The character will debut in AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #1 on April 9th. Written by Joe Kelly with art by Pepe Larraz and John Romita Jr., the series promises to be hellbent on interrupting both Peter’s personal life and his professional one as the costumed web-slinger. According to Marvel, this baddie promises to be an engrossing new challenge for Spider-Man, whose motivations will become clearer as the series goes on.
