Sales tracking group Circana, which tracks video game software and hardware sales throughout the United States, has revealed the best-selling hardware for 2024. Sony’s PlayStation 5 proved to be the best-selling video game format in both units sold and hardware spending. The Nintendo Switch family of systems were the second best-selling hardware in 2024 with Microsoft’s Xbox Series X|S consoles at No.3.
