The nominations for the Mike Wieringo Comic Book Industry Awards, aka the Ringo Awards, are underway, so submit your nominations before voting closes on June 19, 2025. This year’s awards will be presented on October 18, 2025, at Baltimore Comic-Con, and this year’s judges have been announced.
“Every year, we are treated to a new, amazing cross-section of the industry with our jury panel,” said Marc Nathan, Baltimore Comic-Con promoter. “This year is no different, with a great diversity of backgrounds and experience, from creators who have worked at every level and type of publisher to retailers and distributors to media representation. Our jurors this year were excited to be asked, and we’re very happy to benefit from their collective experiences. We can’t wait to see what makes this year’s Final Ballot!”
The five-member judging panel for the 2025 Ringo Awards include Eisner Award winning writer and artist Becky Cloonan (Somna, Dark Agnes, Conan the Barbarian, The Punisher, True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, Gotham Academy, Detective Comics), distributor Steve Leaf, artist Mark Morales (Thor, Daredevil, Batman, X-Men, Avengers vs. X-Men), artists and writer Amy Reeder (Moon Girl, Madame Xanadu, Batwoman, Amethyst), and writer Hannibal Tabu.
