Limited series The Penguin will see Colin Farrell return to his portrayal of Oz Cobb from The Batman (2022) starring Robert Pattinson and Zoë Kravitz among others.

The is executive produced by Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark, Colin Farrell, and Lauren LeFranc, who serves as writer and showrunner. Craig Zobel directed the first three episodes in addition to executive producing. Bill Carraro also executive produces.

What is The Penguin about?

Farrell’s Oz Cobb returns in a follow-up spinoff series to Matt Reeves’ The Batman crime saga. From Oz’s perspective, the show’s context will show the city streets of Gotham and the criminal underbelly as The Penguin wants to climb a ladder of power.

Robert Pattinson’s Batman won’t appear in the series, but it is the same world established in the most recent film about the Caped Crusader.
