When Bend’s Santa Express drive will be in your neighborhood | Local News

The Santa Express, collecting donations for those in need, will be riding around Bend again this holiday season, thanks to Bend Fire and Rescue.

The donation event to support the Salvation Army will be driving around neighborhoods Dec. 2-5, collecting food, clothing and toys.

  • Monday December 2nd – Pineridge, River Canyon and Aspen Rim neighborhoods
  • Wednesday December 4th – Foxborough, Larkspur, Sun Meadow neighborhoods
  • Wednesday December 5th – Three Pines Ridge, Shevlin Ridge and Shevlin Meadows neighborhoods

In addition, donations of non-perishable food, new toys and clothing will be accepted from now through Dec. 13 at all Bend Fire and Rescue stations.

  • West Fire Station – 1212 SW Simpson Ave
  • East Fire Station – 62420 Hamby Rd
  • North Fire Station – 63377 Jamison St
  • South Fire Station – 61080 Country Club Dr
  • Tumalo Fire Station – 64725 Cook Ave
  • Pilot Butte Fire Station – 425 NE 15th St
  • The Salvation Army – 515 NE Dekalb Ave.

Those who cannot make it to these locations and would like someone to come by and pick up a donation in the Bend area can call 541-322-6386 to arrange a curbside pickup.

Known community needs include winter coats for kids, teen and pre-teen Christmas gifts including t-shirts, sweatshirts, bath/body products, gift cards and sports supplies.
