The incident happened in Wellesley Road at around 8.40pm on February 8.
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man who had been stabbed.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was assessed as not life threatening.
No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 8.40pm on Saturday, 8 February to reports of a stabbing in Wellesley Road, Croydon.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, believed aged in his 20s, suffering a stab injury.
“He was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains – his condition is not life threatening.
“There has been no arrest and enquiries into the circumstances continue.
“Road closures were put in place while the incident was dealt with; these have since been lifted.
