Your weekend is here, Tar Heel State, and it’s time to take a look back at some of the stories that were in our headlines this week.

Overall, we’ll start the weekend with cool temperatures on Saturday.

With daytime heating, we might see a few isolated showers pop up on Saturday afternoon.

Sunday will be partly cloudy and warmer.

N.C. bills would let anyone over 18 conceal carry without permit

North Carolina’s gun laws could see a big change this year. This session, the North Carolina General Assembly is considering bills to allow anyone over the age of 18 to carry a concealed gun without needing a permit.
