Mecklenburg County Sheriff Garry McFadden claims ICE has not been working with his department as he holds people in jail on immigration detainers. N.C. bills would let anyone over 18 conceal carry without permit
North Carolina’s gun laws could see a big change this year. This session, the North Carolina General Assembly is considering bills to allow anyone over the age of 18 to carry a concealed gun without needing a permit. Marine experts investigating death of young humpback whale in the Outer Banks
A juvenile, female humpback whale was found stranded on a sandbar in the Outer Banks, officials said. Marine responders are working to figure out the cause of death. Read more >>>
