Warner Bros International Television Production Changes Spain MD

Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITVP) has appointed Stefano Torrisi as its MD in Spain and Portugal. In January, the veteran exec will replace Sebastian Moguilevsky, who is stepping down at the end of the year. WBITVP’s Iberian division produces the local version of First Dates and counts shows such as Netflix drama Brigada Costa del Sol among its credits. Torrisi has previously held senior roles at the likes of Europroducciones TV, Endemol and Banijay in both Spain and Italy. Ronald Goes, EVP Production ITVP commented: ‘We are delighted to announce Stefano’s appointment . He brings a wealth of experience to our operation and I have no doubt that we will go from strength to strength under his leadership. I would also like to thank Sebastian for his great contribution in building our business in Spain.”

Ex-Deluxe Exec Joins AR Platform As CCO For APAC

Really, the augmented reality platform that works on AR experiences for theatrical campaigns, is expanding into the Asia-Pacific region. Initial participants for the digital collectible program in APAC markets include Movie Walker (Japan), Major Cineplex (Thailand), SM Cinemas (Philippines), Shaw Cinemas (Singapore), TGV (Malaysia), SF Cinemas (Thailand), Golden Screen Cinemas (Malaysia), and Ayala Cinemas (Philippines). Former General Manager of Deluxe Media and CEO of media and entertainment consultant firm Qantam Media, Peter Gaida, is assuming the role of Chief Commercial Officer, APAC to spearhead international partnerships. Gaida has been consulting with Really since 2018 while at Qantam Media. He will report to CEO and founder, Andrew Felts. Really’s expansion into the Asia-Pacific region follows the company’s recently announced integration with blockchain platform Avalanche.
