(NMB) Did you have a real Christmas tree this year? it’s time to take it down, but what are you going to do with it? Here’s a good cause. the Fresno Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks and the City of Havre are working together to collect Christmas trees for perch habitat for the purpose of enhancing fishing at Fresno reservoir. Trees will be distributed at various locations around Fresno Reservoir in the spring by Montana FWP and the Fresno Chapter. The collection location is Memorial Park, located next to the 5th avenue softball field. You’ll find a dedicated container for Christmas trees. The container will be there until January 5th.
