Ariana Madix revealed if she received any DMs from celebrities after splitting from Tom Sandoval in March 2023, following the reveal of his months-long affair with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, during an interview earlier this week.
As the Vanderpump Rules alum, 38, prepared for her Broadway debut, she sat down with Cosmopolitan, who questioned her about her celebrity DMs, her shadiest unseen move on the show, the craziest thing she’s lied about, and which castmate she’d want to be stuck on a deserted island with.
“No one has slid into the DMs. I have nothing to show… And every time I get asked that, I feel a little bad about myself cause I’m like why didn’t that happen?” Ariana admitted on the January 10 episode of Cosmo’s “Cheap Shots” video series.
As for the shadiest thing she’s done to one of her co-star that didn’t air, Ariana clarified that the moment actually involved production — and Sandoval, 41.
“It was the trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico,” she shared. “We all had to get on a plane and my ex thought that morning he should get up and go on a jet ski by himself. He was literally still on the jet ski when they were loading up the vans with all of our stuff and all of us. So, I lied to production and told them he was just, like, in the bathroom, but literally I could see him outside of the hotel window in the ocean still on the jet ski. ”
“That was pretty shady,” she noted. “They were pissed mostly just because…they anticipated him being late, so I didn’t help. But what was I supposed to do?”
In addition to her shady behavior against production, Ariana found herself lying on Pump Rules due to a secret she was keeping for Lala Kent, 33: Her since-ended relationship with film producer Randall Emmett, 52.
“There’s been a handful of things that are, like, small. Well, I guess, maybe they’re not that small now. But, like, you know….I knew who Lala was seeing in season four, and I didn’t know their situation, but you know, just kinda had their back,” she explained, adding that Lala is “my girl.”
Also during the video series, Ariana was asked to rank who she’d want to be stuck on a deserted island with out of Lala, Scheana Shay, 38, Tom Schwartz, 40, and Kristen Doute, 40.
“I think number one would be Kristen, because I feel like we would both be so set on making a plan, like figuring things out. So I feel like she would be a good person to have first,” Ariana revealed. “And then second, I would say Scheana. Because I feel as though she would be trying to look on the bright side, and I feel like that would be a really nice thing, as well, to have when we’re probably gonna die, right? And then Lala. First of all, if she could just walk around naked, that would be great.”
As for Schwartz, Ariana said, “I don’t want [him] there at all. Completely useless. No thanks.”
