Two men arrested for drugs and theft in Monroe County

MONROE COUNTY, Ga. — Two men were arrested in Monroe County on Wednesday after stealing a drainpipe, an ATV and more according to a press release from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

The release says deputies were called out to a home on McMullen Road about a stolen drainpipe and gate. 

Their investigation led them to Boxankle Road where they found the pipe installed in a home. 

When investigators searched the property they found a stolen ATV out of Bibb County, a stolen U-Haul trailer and 32 grams of methamphetamine. 

Will Amerson and Thomas Faulkner were both arrested. 

Amerson is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, theft by taking, having drug-related objects and 2 counts of theft by receiving stolen property. Faulkner was charged with misdemeanor theft by taking. 

They are both being held at the Monroe County jail without bond.
