Trippie Redd‘s reached yet another milestone in his career as he has been recognized for his accomplishments by one of the most respected business publications in the world.
Earlier this week, Forbes announced its 30 Under 30 class of 2024 and the Ohio native was among the many brilliant minds featured on it.
On Wednesday (November 29), he took to social media to share a screenshot of the article that succinctly sums up his wins, while also crediting those who motivated him, namely Young Thug, Lil Wayne and XXXTENTACION.
“Money! The root of all evil ;)” he captioned the Instagram post. “I ain’t lien I’m a lion [lion emoji] king [crown emoji] I just wanna thank the artist that inspired me to make my family rich @thuggerthugger1 @liltunechi @xxxtentacion”
Earlier this year, Trippie Redd put off an opportunity to further grow his net worth, but eventually revealed the amazing reason behind his decision.
Trippie was slated to trek across North America for his Take Me Away Tour, but canceled it without an explanation earlier this year.
The Ohio rapper finally clarified everything on his Instagram Story on November 12. The tour is not happening, he said, because daddy duties were calling.
“You guys have been talking about tour and why I canceled it. You want an explanation, so boom,” Trippie said. “I’m dropping a project named Saint Michael, right? What if I was to tell you that’s my son’s name, and I canceled tour because I had to deliver my son?”
“Life be life-ing,” he added. “Y’all sitting there, bashing me, saying all this crazy stuff. And here I’m just bringing my child into the world, you know?”
Trippie then gave fans a glimpse of his baby boy by posting the infant to his Instagram Story. The child’s name is Saint Michael White, which aligns with the title of the rapper’s new EP.
Saint Michael arrived on November 10 and is free of features throughout the seven tracks.
It’s still unclear who the mother of the child is, as Trippie and his girlfriend Skye Morales split over the summer.
