Travis Scott’s $23.5M Mansion In Peril As Hillside Crack Forms

Los Angeles, CA –

Travis Scott‘s massive $23.5 million Los Angeles mansion is in trouble as a hillside crack has formed below it.

Located in Brentwood, a fissure appeared in a hill near Scott’s home after the recent storms caused havoc in the Los Angeles area.

Around five homes are at risk due to the crack which could cause the houses to slide but no evacuations have yet been ordered.

The local fire department told residents that at the moment, the crack is only superficial but further rain could damage the hill even more.

The area is currently being assessed by geologists and the L.A. Dept. of Building and Safety claim there is little risk of the entire hill coming down but more rain is forecast in the area.

Travis Scott bought the mansion in 2020, dropping over $23 million on the nearly 17,000-square-foot house after it was originally put on the market for $42 million.

The property has seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms as well as a 20-car garage, a gym, sauna, bar, cinema, wine cellar and a huge pool.

It also comes with an outdoor kitchen, poolside cabana and alfresco dining decks.

Before they separated in early 2023, Scott and his then-girlfriend Kylie Jenner sold their Beverly Hills mansion for $22 million after buying it four years earlier for a little under $14 million.

That mansion boasted seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms while coming with amenities such as a pool, billiards room, massage room, movie theater and gym.

Travis Scott Teases New Music: ‘I Gotta Kick A New Gear’

Travis Scott isn’t the only rapper to have spent huge sums on real estate. Rick Rossspent over $30 million on a Miami mansion last year only to strip it bare for extensive renovations.

The 40,000-square-foot property came equipped with amenities like a games room, a 40-foot dock on the waterfront, an in-ground pool, a pool table and plaza deck terraces. Ross apparently always intended on renovating the property.

He recently offered fans a behind the scenes glimpse at the renovations by donning a hard hat and high-vis jacket to give his social media followers a tour of the site.

At one point, Ross explained where he would be putting his aquarium: “So look, I know you know about my $1 million fish tank but this is the first time I’ve ever had a pond. Japanese coi.”
