Trailer For Ruth Wilson’s Crime Thriller Mystery Series THE WOMAN IN THE WALL Coming To Showtime — GeekTyrant

Showtime has released a new trailer for the crime thriller mystery series titled The Woman in the Wall. Ruth Wilson stars in the series as a woman who wakes up one morning to find a dead body in her home and she has no idea who she is. This whole situation throws her life into complete chaos and she tries to figure out what in the hell is going on. This looks like it will be an engaging and intense thriller.

The synopsis reads: “Lorna Brady is a woman from the small, fictional Irish town of Kilkinure who wakes one morning to find a corpse in her house. Chillingly, Lorna has no idea who the dead woman is, or if she might be responsible for the apparent murder. That’s because Lorna has long suffered from extreme bouts of sleepwalking ever since she was ripped from her life at the age of 15 and incarcerated in a convent. There, Lorna gave birth to her daughter Agnes, who was cruelly taken from her and whose fate Lorna has never known… As Detective Colman searches for a murderer and Lorna searches for her daughter, their paths collide in ways they could never have anticipated. Lorna’s search for Agnes will take her deep into her own past and to the heart of Kilkinure’s darkest secrets, as she and Colman seek the answers they each so desperately need.”

The Woman in the Wall was created by Joe Murtagh (Calm with Horses, Gangs of London), who is also the lead writer. The series also stars Daryl McCormack as Det. Colman, along with Abby Fitz, Chizzy Akudolu, Lynn Rafferty, Fiona Browne, and Hilda Fay.

The Woman in the Wall will stream on Showtime / Paramount+ on January 19th, 2024.
