Netflix has released the adorable first trailer for its stop-motion animated series Pokémon Concierge. This actually looks like it’ll be quite the charming and chill series that Pokémon fans might enjoy.
The series follows Haru (The Boys’ Karen Fukuhara), a young woman who becomes the newest concierge at a southern island Pokémon hotel resort. She then, “gradually discovers herself as she and her fellow staff members scramble to attend to the various Pokémon guests.”
The series has a very different kind of vibe than any other Pokémon project that I’ve seen and it is sure to deliver unique little low-stakes Pokémon adventures and stories.
Pokémon Concierge is animated by Dwarf Studio, the creators of the stop-motion animated series Rilakkuma and Kaoru on Netflix. This series is being produced by the studio with The Pokémon Company.
Pokémon Concierge will arrive on Netflix on December 28, 2023.
