Prime Video has released the first trailer for Kaley Cuoco and David Oyelowo’s upcoming action comedy titled Role Play. Cuoco takes on the role of Emma, a seemingly normal mother and husband living the good life, when in reality, she’s a deadly assassin. Yeah, we’ve seen this story told several times before, but it still looks like it’ll be a fun flick.
In the series, “Emma has a wonderful husband and two kids in the suburbs of New Jersey – she also has a secret life as an assassin for hire – a secret that her husband David discovers when the couple decide to spice up their marriage with a little role play.”
The movie is directed by Thomas Vincent (Possessions) from a script written by Andrew Baldwin (The Outsider) and Seth Owen (All Nighter). The rest of the cast includes Bill Nighy and Connie Nielsen.
Role Play premieres on Prime Video on January 12th, 2024.
