Just a day earlier, the Carol star attended the TIFF Tribute Awards in a familiar gown to accept the Toronto International Film Festival Share Her Journey Groundbreaker Award.

Blanchett looked gorgeous in a Givenchy maxi dress – a gown she first wore six years ago in 2018 for the British Academy Britannia Awards.

True to her environmental ethos on the red carpet, Blanchett’s acceptance speech promoted the importance of sustainability in the film industry.

“In an industry that naturally recycles and reexamines ideas, I think there’s an inherent creative circularity to the way we make work,” she said as per Deadline.

“And as we all know, gloat and excess are the enemy of creativity. I think the piece of change we’re missing is to make work as an industry more sustainable, more circular.”
