Tips to help with your 2024 resolutions at the gym

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – With the New Year, people will try to keep their resolutions. Which includes going to the gym. Some people lose steam to keep going over the year, but there are ways to keep that momentum going.

Crunch Fitness says the gym has been busy this New Year’s Day, with numerous people looking to start their 2024 off on the right foot.

“The first thing you’ve got to set is specific goals. Once we have those goals set then we have to become consistent with taking necessary steps in order to achieve those goals. Then I think what’s very important, especially for new people starting off, is making sure their workouts are diverse,” said Austin Loes, Personal Training Director.

Here are some tips to help out:

  • Get a gym buddy
  • Be incremental
  • Write it down
  • Ask for guidance

Another tip is to start off with small goals to give yourself a sense of accomplishment through the year.
