Michelle Lally took to her Instagram page on Tuesday, ahead of the new episode of The Valley, to fight back against claims made against her on the show.

After a sneak peek featured a flashback of Kristen Doute suggesting she heard that Michelle was potentially a Republican and a racist, Michelle shared a series of photos from her childhood, explaining her upbringing to her fans and followers and making it clear that she sees people of all walks of life equally.

“Love it when old friends reach out to me and send me pictures like this,” Michelle began in her April 2 post.

“I was born and raised in the Baha’i Faith. I grew up very involved and strong in the faith. One of the main principles is the oneness of mankind. No matter what ethnic background, class, religion or sexual orientation, we are all equal,” she stated. “As Baha’is we don’t claim a political party. We vote for who aligns with our beliefs, and have respect for all political parties.”

“I love all people equally,” she added.

In a sneak peek at The Valley shared by Bravo earlier this week, Kristen was seen arguing with Brittany Cartwright, Jasmine Goode, and Zack Wickham when she accused Janet Caperna of making racist allegations of Michelle.

“Janet told you Michelle is like probably a Republican so she’s probably racist. This is the sh*t Janet was saying,” Kristen declared at a cast gathering.

Right away, Jasmine got up out of her seat and told Kristen, “You know what Kristen? I swear to God. You are not gonna f*cking say that Janet told me that she was a racist.”

Then, after Kristen fired back, “That is what Zack told me,” Zack denied any such thing.

While looking back at the wild argument during a day out with Jax Taylor and their son, Brittany expressed concern over how Michelle would respond once she learned what her co-stars had been saying behind her back.

The Valley season one airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
