After the show stopped airing, Davis moved to Hollywood to pursue acting in the US.
Sadly, she and her co-stars drifted apart.
“If I ever saw any of them I’d be delighted,” she told Radio Times in 2017.
“We had a blast doing it but we all naturally fell apart, went our separate ways.”
After her stint on The Office, Davis won a huge starring role in the 2004 comedy Shaun of the Dead.
She also earned a few guest star spots in shows such as Ugly Betty, Californication and NCIS. She also portrayed Hilda Spellman on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
In 2018, she hilariously revealed she was once rejected for an audition where the producers wanted an actor “just like” Dawn in The Office.
“Years ago I auditioned for a commercial in the UK,” she tweeted at the time.
“It was only when I got to the audition that I was told that they wanted an actress ‘just like Dawn from The Office’. I felt pretty awkward, but even more so when I DIDN’T GET THE ROLE.”
Currently, Davis stars as Eva Madden in the Disney series The Villains of Valley View.
