The Killer’s Game Digital Release Date Set for Dave Bautista Action Movie
Following its theatrical release last September 13, Lionsgate has announced The Killer’s Game digital release date for its latest action thriller starring Marvel vet Dave Bautista as a hitman who mistakenly puts out a kill contract on himself.
“When top hitman Joe Flood is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he decides to take matters into his own hands — by taking a hit out on himself,” reads the film’s synopsis. “But when the very hitmen he hired also target his ex-girlfriend, he must fend off an army of assassin colleagues and win back the love of his life before it’s too late.”
When is The Killer’s Game digital release date?
The Killer’s Game will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting this Friday, October 4. Following its theatrical release, the film wasn’t able to catch the attention of critics, who gave the film negative reviews. Despite its low Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it still received a much higher audience score of 81% based on over 250 verified ratings.
The Killer’s Game was directed by J.J. Perry from a screenplay written by Rand Ravich and James Coyne, based on Jay R. Bonansinga’s novel of the same name. The film also stars Sofia Boutella, Terry Crews, Ben Kingsley, Scott Adkins, Drew McIntyre, Daniel Bernhardt, Lee Hoon, and more. It was produced by Andrew Lazar, Steve Richards, and Kia Jam.
