The Addiction series creators/writers Vincent Zurzolo and David Quinn will hit the show floor at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 along with digital collectibles platform VeVe co-founder David Yu. In addition to signings and giveaways, the team will offer convention-exclusive variants of their independently published series debut, The Addiction #1, and early-sale editions of issue #2 at booth #4400 (near Gate F).
“Comic-Con is the largest pop culture event in the United States. David Quinn and I, joined by rising star cover artists Andres Labrada and ‘The Addiction Army’ are thrilled to have this stage to celebrate our launch and the work of our all-star creative team: Eisner-nominated illustrator Claudia (Killer Queens) Balboni, color artist Brad Simpson, letterer Dave Sharpe and a legion of fan-favorite cover artists including Artgerm, David Mack, Alitha Martinez, Ryan Brown, Amanda Conner, Robot Cat, Andrew Wilson, Tim Vigil, and Andres Labrada.”
Quinn describes The Addiction: “A doctor dedicated to treating addiction harbors a strange, dangerous secret—she can drug you with her touch. Allied with her lover, Dr. Niki Tino’s must master her uncanny power to be the cure in our sick world. What’s real? What is hallucination? Enjoy the trip.”
The Addiction launched as the first “phygital” (physical and digital) collectible comic on VeVe in October 2023. During SDCC, readers can purchase all comic shop editions of the comic and SDCC-exclusive variants of issues #1 and #2. Check out covers and details below.
