Teresa Giudice opened up about her reunion with Kim “D” DePaola, shared the real reason their feud began, and revealed what Kim told her.
Though Kim and the Real Housewives of New Jersey star were once close, the friendship ended a decade ago. After trash-talking each other in the press for years, their recent reunion shocked fans.
“I never had a problem with her. Matter of fact, I liked hanging out with her. I had fun with her. You know? She’s fun,” said Teresa of her reunion with Kim D. on her Namaste B$tches podcast, via allaboutrh.com. “We picked up right where we left off.”
Teresa claimed they discussed why the feud ended.
“Obviously, someone fed her lies about me. And I looked in her eyes, and she told me what she heard,” said the star. “And I said that’s not true. You know, I said, that’s not true.”
“Someone wanted to tell you that, and she believed it,” Teresa added. “Someone told her that I’m the reason why she stopped being on Real Housewives in New Jersey. That I had the power to get her off. That I stopped her from being on Real Housewives of New Jersey. And I said, ‘Kim. Kim, really? You’re you’re not gonna be the first one if I’m gonna do that [to].’”
“If I had the power to do that, I think everybody could guess who would I want off the show,” she said jokingly. “Thank you so much for giving me that power, but I don’t have that power.”
“And why would I want Kim D [off RHONJ?] I mean, if anything, she brought so much entertainment. She even came at me. But I have to say, Kim D makes good TV, you know?” she said. “So, it’s like, I didn’t [do] that. I don’t have that power. You know, Bravo does not listen to me.”
