Teresa Giudice revealed her ideal cast for season 15 of Real Housewives of New Jersey, and she also shared a recent text from former castmate Danielle Staub. The bestselling author also shared where she learned to flip tables, and she addressed her time in prison after pleading guilty to mortgage fraud.

After last season, RHONJ was put on pause. Host Andy Cohen suggested that a cast shakeup is looming, and they won’t film until 2026. Throughout the season, Teresa feuded with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa.

“I definitely want to come back, but not with everyone,” said Teresa on the Michelle Barone – RED podcast. “I definitely think it needs a cast shakeup.”

Teresa claimed she doesn’t miss Caroline Manzo, who left the show years ago. “But I made up with [her sister-in-law] Jacqueline,” she said. “So I talk with Jacqueline. Jacqueline and I talk a lot.”

She also shared that Danielle Staub texted her “out of nowhere” on New Year’s.

“She’s like, ‘Wishing you all the best in the New Year,’” she recalled. “And I was like, ‘Same to you.’” Despite their dramatic history, Teresa explained that the text exchange was “nice.”

As for her ideal cast, Teresa named herself, Jen Aydin, Dolores Catania, and Jackie Goldschneider.

“And that’s it,” she said. “[But] bring some new blood in.”

Teresa then explained that her favorite seasons of the RHONJ were the first two.

“I didn’t want to sign my contract season three. [This was] the day before [the christening],” she said, alluding to her brother Joe’s screaming fight with their dad. “[Actually] I think my dad took happy pills that day … because my father growing up, my dad, he would’ve been flipping tables … We were terrified of him. That’s why I was always a good girl.”

Teresa claimed her dad once flipped a table, and she thinks this is how she subconsciously learned it. The star also said she had a curfew until she got married.

Regarding her ex-husband Joe Giudice‘s fight to return to the U.S. (after being forced to leave following his own time in prison), Teresa said she hopes he gets “pardoned.”

Addressing her prison, Teresa referred to it as “camp cupcake,” and she said it reminded her of “college living,” though she admitted it wasn’t clean. The “worst” part was missing her kids.

According to Teresa, she didn’t shed a tear when her lawyer took her to prison. At the time, her husband Joe stayed home with the kids, and she felt like it was all a “dream.”
